The City Office is located in the Stanhope Community Building just south of the park at 665 Iowa Street.  The City Office, located on the upper floor, is open with business hours of 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 Noon and 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 8:30 - 12:00 Noon Friday.  Stanhope's mayor is Harold Hove.  Stanhope has a five-member city council.  Council members are Trent Flockhart, Jack Read, Kempton Young, Nila Zanker, and Gary Baker Jr.  Stanhope's City Council meets monthly on the second Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in the city office.
